Rules

General

1. Members must be 18 years old or older to sign up. If found out you are not of age, your account will be deleted without warning.


2. There is no word count requirement, but we do require at least a paragraph to be made.


3. No powerplaying (all powerful with magic), metaplaying (using OOC information for IC without permission), and godmodding (saying if an attack makes a hit or stating what the other character that doesn't belong to you does next). If you're not sure if what you have typed is okay, ask first. The only exception for godmodding is getting permission from another player.


4. Any kind of magic can be found on the site.


5. The site's rating is 3/1/2, which allows the following:
   • 3 (Language) Swearing and mature language is permitted but only with a trigger warning. Certain words however will be monitored.
   • 1 (Sex) Mild sexual innuendo and references permitted. No exceptions.
   • 2 (Violence) Explicit violence is permitted but only with a trigger warning.


6. If you feel uncomfortable at any time with a certain content or a member on the site, please report about it immediately and we will try to find a solution.


7. Rule breakage will lead to only one written warning. Repeated rule breakage, and depending on what kind, may lead to a temporary suspension or a permanent one.

Characters

1. You may have any sort of mutation (horns, claws, beaks, etc) so long as they still resemble an equine, any sort of color appearances, as well as armor, accessories, outfits, and so forth. There are no items to purchase for these, so let your imagination soar. Isles Above is a diverse place and who knows, maybe there could be a bear horse cross floating about who gives good hugs!


2. Characters being a copy of a character found in a mega franchise is not allowed. It's okay to take inspiration, but please make them be unique in a way.


3. The age that equines can breed here on Isles Above is 4 years old. Any breeding below this will not be allowed.


4. Characters can be any age when created from newborn to very old.


5. Smallest height is 8hh while the tallest height available is 20.3hh. There are no limitations on either of them based on how many characters you have that are small or tall.


6. Companions of any kind are accepted and allowed, the first one is free while the next ones are to be purchased. Go here to claim them!

Discord Chat

1. While there is a vent channel, if you need someone to talk to for a serious situation, please call a hotline.


2. If a subject is asked to be dropped in any channel, please do so.


3. Only advertise in the advertising channel. Those who have joined the site will only be granted to this channel.


4. Keep mature topics in the correct channel marked, however there will still no imagery of the following but not limited to: porn, gore, violence, drugs, and other sensitive subjects to be posted.

Graphics & Tables

1. All tables and graphics need to be credited correctly to the rightful artists/creators.


2. Tables and graphic must not stretch the forum else it will be edited or removed with a message alerting you. While the content area is pretty big (1000px), keep in mind for folks with smaller screens. 700px to 800px is a good range. You can go a bit lower or higher.


3. Avatars will only be shown on profile view and around the User CP area.


4. Signatures must be no bigger than 400px in height or it will be edited.


5. Text sizes for tables and posts as a whole should be 10px or higher depending on what font is used. If it's too small, please adjust or ask for help if commented on.


6. Text colors should also not be chosen to make a post hard to read on the theme or tables.


7. Profiles layouts are allowed to be sold for real currency, as are artwork, post tables, and more. You can also sell for onsite currency, but not for IC currency!
